*an abbreviation of the Greek word "Υγεία" (Hygeia >hygiene), meaning "health". Hygeia was a goddess in Greek mythology, the daughter of Asclepios (God of healing) and the sister of Panacea (She who heals all pains). In Greece we use the word "geia" as a greeting and a wish to the other person for good health.
